Summer Weather in Northern Apennines

Northern Apennines offer a lot of different weather conditions during summer. A sunny day can turn into a rainy one in less than an hour. Summer storms can be rather violent but don't usually last more than one hour. Temperatures tend to stay high during storms.

In sunny days temperatures range from 20 °C up to 34 °C ( 68 - 93 °F ) at lower heights ( 600 - 700 msl which is the height of the center of many lower valleys ) down to 15 - 25 °C. These are day values, nights are obviously colder.

Between May and September you'll find plenty of sunny days: summer is an excellent season to visit the Northern Apennines.
