Reno Valley
The Reno valley in the province of Pistoia is the very high part of the valley formed by the Reno river.
The Reno river has it's head on Pistoia mountains and its valley runs through the lower mountains of the Apennine of Pistoia.
After few kilometers the river enters the region Emilia Romagna where it will run towards its mouth into the Adriatic Sea.
The Reno valley is one of the most beautiful examples of the nature you're going to find on the Pistoia Apennine: the valley alternates wide and narrow sections covered with magnificient vegetation.
In the upper valley ( the part in the province of Pistoia ) you'll find only a very small village and few houses leaving this valley one of the best attractions for low mountain lovers.
