Lake Santo

Lake Santo at 1501 m.s.l. is dominated by mount Giovo and is one of the biggest of northern Apennine.

It can easily be reached by car from Pievepelago ( Modena province ) with just few minutes of walking from the huge parking.

With its 16 metres of depth and 58000 square meters of water surface it offers amazing views, specially in autumn when the leaves of the trees on the shores reflect in its crystalline waters.
