Lakes in Pistoia Mountains
The mountains surrounding Pistoia are covered with small and fascinating lakes.
Some can be reached by car, most are reachable via trails and located in remote areas.

Lake Scaffaiolo, at 1775 m.s.l., is few minutes away from the summit of mount Cupolino.
Lake Santo at 1501 m.s.l. is dominated by mount Giovo and is one of the biggest of northern Apennine
Lake Nero is a glacial lake at 1730 m.s.l. near Alpe Tre Potenze peaks.
Lake Piatto, near Lake Nero, is at an altitude of 1823 m.s.l.
Lake Baccio is one of the biggest lakes in northern Apennine.
