Teso Forest

Teso Forest spreads over more than 4700 acres from Pracchia to San Marcello Pistoiese.

It's core is located in the mountains surrounding Maresca and Orsigna.

The forest is located at north of Pistoia, south of the province of Bologna ( Emilia Romagna ).

Ranging from 795 to 1732 m.s.l. it's composed by high trees such as Beech, Chestnut and Fir.

Hunting is forbidden: local fauna is composed by deers, fallow deers, roe deers, wild boars, mouflons, european badgers, foxes, buzzards, porcupines and few specimens of wolves.
