Autumn Weather in Northern Apennines

Autumn in northern Apennines is characterized by changeable weather but still offers many days of sun for you to enjoy the mountains.

Sunny days aren't hot and temperatures are good for trekking excursions at lower heights. On particularly hot autumn days you can reach even high peaks with not too cold temperatures, however storms are rather frequent specially on high areas.

In sunny days temperatures range from 12 °C up to 25 °C at lower heights ( 600 - 700 msl which is the height of the center of many lower valleys where most villages and towns are located ) down to 5 - 15 °C.
